Must modify before using on GYTR flywheel
First off, this tool does not fit the GYTR flywheel out of the box. You must flip one of the legs over and file down the longer 9mm pin. The reason for flipping a leg is so you're using the longer pins. But the 5mm pin is kind of narrow so it's only a matter of time before it breaks. The thing of it is that this is a necessary tool. I haven't tried the belt type tool but don't have the time to be waiting on returns before new tool ships. Will make it work for now!

Good tool but kind of expensive.
Bought this to hold the timing rotor stationary on my Kawasaki GTR 1400. Works as it should. Would have given 5 stars but I think this tool costs more than it should.

    Works but not easy
I needed to hold my fly wheel to torque it down and even though this tool has to different size tips neither fit well and I had to struggle to keep the tool holding the flywheel. Works though

Honda CR125R is not like RM250 flywheel NO Sch*t!!!
I had a 2002 RM250 that blew up. Bought the Tusk Flywheel/ Clutch Holder. It was a no go with the 2002 CR125R Flywheel. So I bought this one. While the motor is still in the frame like it is this one was a little difficult to stabilize to keep it from falling off when torqueing the shaft nut to spec. I believe it would have been perfect if the motor was off the bike and in my engine stand. Just an opinion. I would believe someone out there has a trick of the trade to help make it easier to use while the motor is still in the frame. BTW! I would venture to say this would work on the RM250 also. But my suggestion is if you like Harley's and you want a Japanese bike that frustrates you the same then get a 2002 RM250 2-stroke and have fun figuring out how to tame a notorious bog that happens whenever you don't need it to the most. Just another opinion!!!

    Decent tool for the cash
Decent design, somewhat cumbersome to use due to the pins being a little on the short side but overall a good tool for the price.

    Must have for engine rebuild
Tried using the backside studs of motion pro clutch holder but it kept slipping. This took holds firm with no slipping. 2 size studs for big and little bikes. Works great.

    Won't fit 2014 RMZ 450 Flywheel
Well made product, but won't fit the 2014 RMZ 450 flywheel because the pins are too short. I replaced the 2 posts with 40mm M8 bolts and got it to work but its tricky and you definitely need two people to torque the nut to 58 ft-lbs. 45mm M8 fasteners would have worked better, but I couldn't find any will full length threads.

Will this work on 2015 yz85?
    matthew m on Jan 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Not sure. I actually bought it to remove the end cap on a small hydraulic cylinder and to have available for possible engine work on my numerous ATVs/toys. It is a well built and could come in handy for many other applications.
Can this tool hold the fly wheel for install?
    Michael M on Mar 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This tool does not work on weighted flywheels such as the GYTR for a YZ250. GYTR adds weight to the flywheel which extends its depth and the pins on the Tusk tool are not long enough to reach the holes. Otherwise, yes this tool works fine to hold a flywheel for assembly.
Can you also use this for a clutch holder?
    Trent F on Aug 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If the clutch is the Sams style and has the small holes in the front then Yes. If it doesn't then you would need the other style of holder which is like a set of pliers almost.
