  • Tusk L.E.D. TailLight/Brake Light Under Fender

    Arnold in MN

    Lost the lens

I like the tail light with the under fender mount. I am using it on a 2019 Honda CRF230F. It is very easy to install and wire up. I also used the little tear drop blinker lights by Tusk. I'm not trying to make my bike 100% street legal, and I did not really want blinkers, but these are so small and tucked in I thought there was not much of a chance of them getting ripped off in a crash. The problem with the tail light is the lens fell off during my last ride .I had to order another unit in order to fix it. I have about 30 hrs of fast hard riding on very bumpy rocky terrain. I will reinforce the new one with some epoxy or Goop and hopefully it will last longer this time around.

  • Tusk Compact Control Switch With On/Off

    Arnold in MN

Works as it should, easy to install

Haven't had a problem with the Compact Control Switch yet as of 30 hours of hard riding. It would of been very easy to install if I had gotten the wire harness by Tusk, but my bike already had some wiring done by me so I made my own harness. The switch came with a sheet that gave the explanation of the different wires, so it was easy enough to install.

  • Tusk Mini Flush Mount L.E.D. Turn Signals

    Arnold in MN

    Great blinkers, none better

I don't really need turn signals on my dirt bike since it is not street legal, and I don't intend to make it street legal. I wanted a taillight and headlight for safety reasons out on the trails. I bought a Baja Designs headlight and a Tusk taillight plus the Tusk compact light switch, which has the switch for blinkers built in. I was remembering the bad old days of blinkers hanging by wires after a wipe out, and did not really want blinkers at all. But these are so compact and tiny, they don't stick out at all, I can't imagine a crash that would get to them. So far they've held up quite well. I had one hanging by wires once, the screw fell out, I found a new screw at the hardware store and installed both blinkers with lock tight, they've been fine ever since.
