Excellent kit and very affordable. Installation is pretty straight forward, I wish it would have a power and ground hookup in the harness for the headlight side of the switch for DC headlight systems, but if your headlight is AC driven it’s pretty straight forward.

installed on 2008 Honda 230, with a Tusk switch, runing the wire was a bit of a challenge, and dont forget to put a fuse in line. Product is good quality and not that hard to mount, it come with a couple of options. The cr230 has a battery so that was an easy choice to hook up to.. bike without a battery are little more challenging to wire and can require a new stator.

Works well, if you know that you need to "float" the stator, which simply means that both ends of the stator winding are brought out to the rectifier.

Finally, this is my 3rd attempt with 2 failed parts I recently tried. The Acerbis does not work, so don't waste your money or time on that part, just not enough structure. I love Acerbis on their plastics. The rear fender is a new one in the pic. I kept sucking in my plate and my tire would eat it up! The OEM parts of the Husky slim kit is spot on. No flimsy movement and the rear taillight tucks in nicely with a set of the TUSK blinkers. I always appreciate the reviews from others, so thought I would share.
