This item looks good and bolts on with ease but has 0 durability. Paid alot and cased on 1 double and completely ripped out all mounting screws on impact. It did save my case but I would hope more than once. Go aluminum.Read All Reviews

I got a Kawasaki KLX140L this past Spring. The first time I took it over rough terrain, the stock, plastic skid plate cracked down the right side of the frame. I bought this skid plate and installed it with no problem. (You must have T30 and T40 Torx bits to install this skid plate.) My only concern is how well the bolts will hold up to the pounding, as there is no indentation in the skid plated for them and they â??stick outâ?? below the plate, especially using the washer. That being said, the skid plate, itself, looks strong enough to take any beating I give it. I have now done an oil change and found that I can still use my 17 mm wrench, although there is little room to turn the wrench. Patience is the key. The drain hole in the plate is correctly aligned so that there is no problem with the oil spilling.Read All Reviews
