Great road-biased tire for the beast!

Finding myself riding lately with a group of road riders, and had worn out the old stock Pirelli Scorpions. Decided to change to a more 'road-biased' tire for the bike, and what a difference! Given the much more rounded profile, the bike leans over much easier... in fact it WANTS to lean into turns! Totally changed the feel of the bike on the street - with no awkward 'tipping point' in the profile of the tire at all. Can confidently shred pavement turns at +90mph with mostly touring and sport bikes (BMW K-series', etc..). 1000+ miles on it so far - and no visible wear whatsoever! - however; I would ONLY use these for street/possibly gravel & dirt roads. No way would I want to go anywhere near mud or wet grass with these!

(Couldn't select this option from the list; and had to get creative with 'vehicle selection' when ordering - but trust that this tire fits the bike!)

    Great dual sport tire!

I have 2500 miles on the tires so far. Excellent handling in dirt, gravel and on the road. At interstate speeds the front tire has an odd feeling. Kinda squirms about. But seems to have gotten better after a few hundred miles. Front is starting to cup a little but otherwise nearly no tread wear. I would expect the front to last 10k miles as long as the cupping doesn't get too bad. Very soft compound on the sides of the tread with harder in the middle. The rear I expect to last at least 5k miles. These tires grip great on the road and ride very smoothly. Also fantastic on gravel and dirt roads.

    Trail Attack 2 Rear

Excellent rear tire. Over 8000mi mostly riding double on canyon and mountain roads. Sticks like glue all the way to the edge. I now am running the Continental Road Attack 2 and it works just as well. I will use continental Road and Trail attack tires forever.

    Great TIre!

TKC80s have been great tires. I have used the same set for over 4000 miles 75% pavement, 20% gravel, 5% larger rocks and dirt. They have held up great still lots of tread left. For a more aggressive style tire they surprised me on pavement and wet pavement. Dry pavement I can still drag footpegs in the corners and feel confident doing it. Sloppy muddy conditions they get pretty slick but I am comparing a 400lb KLR to my KTM 300 in the mud so the weight and geometry could be 80-90% of that. Overall excellent tire. I will buy another set when I wear these out. Front will last for 2-3 rear tires, but i have 4k+ and still have tread. I expect I can get 5-6k out of one rear. Much smoother and quieter than the D606s I have ran.
