The 1190 Adv came stock with these tires and I've stuck with them. I have to say they stick like glue and I've never felt them slip in the rain or during cornering on the road, off road well the don't offer alot of confidence on loose terrain or in a little mud. I'd like to see this tire provide a longer life span, they last somewhere between 5-7k miles(rear), and I mainly travel alone without luggage.

    So far, so good

Great traction and the price was right, but with that great traction comes shortened lifespan.

Don't skimp on tires...one accident will do more da...

I use these on my KTM 1190 even though I am on street 50% of the time and there are likely better tires for the street. Never-the-less, on street I may accelerate hard, corner in dry weather fairly aggressive and hit some high speeds and they perform just fine. My real concern is dirt. It's a big bike and I thrash the thing pretty well even though I am not that big and strong. Since I am not that big and strong, I wanted the lower version 1190 (Standard) and immediately changed the tires to TKC 80's. I wanted as much traction as possible in the dry pack, mud, single track and sand. The TKC's are legendary for traction and reliability. Their weakness is the soft compound that makes them so good means they have a short life. In 50/50 riding, I get 6,000 miles on the front and 3,500 on the rear. I can get more off rear if I am not concerned about the dirt traction. Anyway, my buddy has an 1190R and saved some money by going with a longer life tire...he's constantly getting wiggly in the mud, getting stuck and tipping over. He's got broken mirrors, scratches on tank and exhaust and simply lacks confidence in the mud. So... he bought the baddest Adventure bike out there and then is constantly looking for the easy route because he's crippled it with cheap, long life tires! He also can't hop a log because he loses traction on the approach.

    Great Tire

Second bike I've used these on. Can't say much about the tread life as only have about 2K on the first set and 900 on the second bike. Best all round tire I've used, and I've used most of the other brands of the same type. Think the wet traction may be almost as good as in the dry. Handling on pavement is excellent, and does much better than expected on unpaved surfaces. Of course mud and deep sand are not something to tackle.

A great tire with neutral handling

Unlike other front tires I've had (on a KTM 1190AdventureR), this handling does not fall in to turns nor does it require effort rolling into a turn. 6K miles and so far no signs of cupping.
