Are ATV handguards important? Yes! If you do any amount of trail riding, you know how it is to have little branches flicking your knuckles and brake levers. And if you enjoy racing or simply riding with others, you know what it’s like to be constantly bombarded with roost. Not only are both of these annoying, but they can also begin to cause real pain. And under the wrong circumstances, they can even be unsafe if it causes serious problems with your brake levers.
Don’t let the branches or roost win. Get handguards instead. You’ll be amazed at how much you like them. And if you need something that can take a real impact, make sure you get bark busters. While all handguards are designed with high quality plastics to ward off twigs and small branches, some (affectionately called “bark busters”) also include a metal bar to withstand larger objects. Get whatever is appropriate for your riding habits.
At Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, we stock a variety of handguard brands:
Each brand offers several different options, so you’ve got plenty of choices when looking for handguards to fit your quad.
Aside from trail protection, you’ll also find a few ATV hand warmers here as well. These are special handguards that are designed more as protection against the cold winter weather than they are against branches on trails.
Take a look at the ATV handguards on the page to see what interests you. With such a variety of styles, colors and designs, you’re sure to find the perfect match for you.

These are not full blown bark busters so don't think that is what you're getting but they are way beyond flag style handguards so for me they are a perfect compromise. This is my second set after running them on a previous bike (2012-2015) lots of banging trees and several crashes they hold up great no broken levers or tweaked bars in the last 5 years with these.Read All Reviews

I've had issues getting handle bar guards, not just cycra, to fit well. It seems they tend to interfere with the throttle assembly or the computer or they turned way too high/ low. I have renthal fatbar handlebars and I have 1 1/2 inches cut from each end, so I had to shorten the guards and drill new oblong mount holes. It was a bit of work. I mounted the guards with the cycra "SOLUTION MOUNT SYSTEM". I also had to remove the computer in order to have the guards pointing level, since I used the solution mount system. All that said, I love cyrca probend guards. I had them on my last bike too.Read All Reviews
