Amazing tires for being DOT approved.
These tires are amazing. They just keep hooking up even when worn down. I just replaced the rear tire with another used one I had laying around and don't see much of a difference.

It Grips!!
I selected this tire because it’s described as a soft/intermediate tire and imo that is accurate. It’s definitely not as soft as some while softer than others. I initially started with 15lbs of air pressure but in some off camber situations the tire felt flat. That could be because i have always ridden io hard compound tires that last forever. Its a little pricey, and i did have some wear after only 5 hours on the tire but it grips really well. I navigated thru the technical stuff significantly easier than ever before.
But in regards to the wear, its worth noting that i ride at Windrock in Oliver Springs, TN and the terrain is extremely rocky and alot of it is hard pack.
After 5 hours of combined hard pack, rock and muddy single track on a 450. Satisfactory

Better than average
For the price it's a good tire as it should be. I felt my MX3S was better for less, but I really had no complaints whether on soft or hard pack. The only issue with this tire is it lasted even shorter than the dunlop. I always ride the rear on tubeless.

Best tire all-around tire I've tried
I've tried so many tires and just keep coming back to this. It works excellent in every I've ridden here in Arizona. I have one on my practice wheel that is almost bald. There's a new one sitting on the shelf but this nearly bald one is still so good I can't bring myself to taking if off. Every time I take it out I think this will be the last ride on it for sure but every time it still keeps working awesome. All I can say is, you will not be disappointed with this tire!

Great sand tire!
Just installed this rear knobby on my KTM 300 XC-W, replacing a Pirelli MT43 trials tire. I ride mostly deep sand single track and arroyos and this tire works very well in these conditions. I am presently running 8psi with a Tubliss system. I highly recommend this tire.

WoW!
Goldentyre fatty front along with a GT232N rear makes for one heck of a combo! these tires do so much well. really confidence inspiring in the corners, grip exceptionally well. climbing hills has gotten easier , hold well on single track on steep traverses, and the biggest advantage of having so much meat is how they eat up rocky terrain - they even hold well on the street! im very impressed with my first set of Goldentyres

my bike got about an inch taller - I need a longer kickstand with these bad boys on there!

What is better for east coast rocks and roots, 110 or 120? I'm assuming the 120 is a lot heavier too?
Michael A on Dec 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: For the GT232N I personally think the 120 it better with the extra coverage on the ground . As far as the weight difference , it is so small you would never be able to tell especially while riding offroad.
Is the Goldentyre 232 a softer compound than the Goldentyre 333?
Joseph S on Nov 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I’ve run both and while I don’t think they’re the same compound, they are very similar. Neither are real soft, but that’s by design. Goldentyres get such great traction by having a lot of sidewall flex. Even with the firm compound and normal psi, the tread nearly wraps itself around obstacles and keeps pulling.
about how many hours are you guys getting out of this tire?
jacoby M on May 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have it on my 450 and i ride in extremely rough, rocky, and hard pack terrain. I have about 10 hours on it and its showing some wear. No chunks gone tho. Im also making a conscious effort to be as easy on it as possible whenever possible.
This thing comes on the rim right?
A shopper on Jan 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This will only be the tire. The rim is not included.
