Tractionator desert h/t rear .
Traction on and off road is good. Howls super loud on pavement. Slides easily on loose downhills.
Definetly a 10/90 on/off

Wow do you want my SSN too?
So far so good with this tire set up. This is the first time I can easily pick the front end up off road. The first 100 miles are pretty hairy haha the rear slides around a lot on the road until it’s broken in. 500 miles and counting.

Long lasting rear tire
I down rated this tire because it lacks cornering traction on flat type corners. Otherwise, it is a great tire for desert, mountain/Jeep Road and mixed hard terrain. It also works well in soft terrain as the center knobs have a small paddle design that scoops the loose soil. I have this tire on the rear of a CR500 and I'm impressed with how long it has lasted. I have ridden this bike on most every type of western states ground from mud to hard pack and from lose soil to rocks. It's a tough tire I would recommend to a large bore rider.

Good for price but awful road manners
The 140/18 I bought is a VERY tall tire. It’s also pretty heavy when compared to a few others in its class. I liked the traction off-road but it hums like an angry bee hive on the highway. Due to the tall tire, i didn’t like the fact it literally changed my gearing a bit.

Excellent tire.
So far I've done about 800 miles on this tire. Street pressures are definitely not good off pavement, I dropped to 20 psi off road and it seems to be perfect for my Africa Twin. We ride hard and Motoz is definitely delivering a great product.

Great hard terrain tire
I have about 700 miles on the tire so far and it is holding up very well. About 30% blacktop and the rest hard pack rocky Colorado mountain trails. I haven't had a chance to try it in any soft terrain yet but it does really good in the hard stuff. The tire is a bit heavy and a little expensive but overall seems like a good buy.

Motoz tractionator
The tire I ordered was the desert H/T, but I received the enduro S/T. I'm not real happy about that, but I'm gonna try it out and see how well it performs. I'm running tubliss and only run about 5-10psi and the front still seems like it wants to walk in slow and high speed corners.

Any first hand experience on using this rear tire on a big adventure bike (KTM 950SE)?
Ulrich B on Oct 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, have it currently on my 990, XRR and XRL. Got 4500 miles on the last one and still had some tread left. Ride mostly mountain roads, gravel, rock, it handles great with low air pressure. Wears great on the pavement but it is loud. I'd say the best tire for the money I've ever had.
What is the speed and weight rating of this tire ?
Mike S on Sep 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: What size tire are you needing? Once i have this information i will be able to further assist you.
Will a 140 fit on a 2018 500exc-f without anything rubbing? Thanks
Robert K on Jul 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Robert, I would not recommend the 140/80-18 for the 500. I would suggest the 130/90-18. It is a lot better fit.
How well does the front tire perform in wet hard pack ,roots and rocks in a true enduro environment.? Is the natural rubber compound a plus or minus in overall traction (wet or dry) ?
ALAN D on Dec 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't know your area or conditions, but for central CA and Baja these tires are fantastic. They easily get me through 1,000 miles+ of aggressive desert riding on my 2016 KTM 500EXC. I am on my third set of Motoz. The fronts are good, but I switched to the I/T version of the same tire and find that for me it performs much better off road. It might not last as long, but it still outlasts the rear in the same conditions. I currently run H/T rear and I/T front. I have over 9,000 miles on my bike and have been through 7 sets of tires. The Kenda Parkers were awesome off road (but total crap on road) and didn't last an entire pre-run of the Baja 1,000. The Motoz handled it all with expected wear an minimal chunking. IMO these Motoz are heavy tires, but also durable and perform well.
I ride 7 days in Colorado I stay in a different town each night I’m worried about how these tires will act on pavement in wet weather and if they will kick out an slide in wet conditions on the road I’m sure they work good off-road ?
Shawn T on Jul 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Great on any rocky terrain, gravel roads and, good on wet rocky trails. They wander in any tire ruts on a highway at speed due to the large lugs. They smell like burnt rubber if you go 55 for 10+ miles, but it doesn’t seem to affect them. Not my favorite wet road tire, but never felt like I was on a tire that was going to wash out. Motoz tubes HD tubes are great. I like the Motoz, but my fav DS tire is the Shinko 804/805 and Motoz tubes.
What is the largest size of motoz tractionator desert h/t that will fit the rear of a Suzuki drz 400?
A shopper on Feb 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 130/90-18 would be my choice for drz 400. The larger tire will fit, but the drz will handle better with the 130/90. The drz 400 doesnt make huge power, and putting an oversized tire on it will slow the response time down as well. So go with the 130/90, would be my suggestion.
What rear size would be best for xr400.... MOAB riding ? Stock is 110 100 would wider be better ?
TONY N on Nov 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Definitely stick with oem size or possible even a 100/100. The terrain in Moab is so varied they work best. I run a 110/100 on my KTM 530 and it's oem is a 140. My DRZ called for a 120 and I ran the 110 there too. 110 is a good all around size for off road. I ran a 110 on my old 97 XR too. Enjoy, Tractionator is an awesome tire.
Does anyone run the 130 Desert H/T on a WR450F? I have a 2013 and I'm wondering about chain rub. Thanks.
TOKI W on Oct 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I had lots of free space on the KTM we installed it on. For what its worth, many of the tire manfuctures seem to very liberal (small and large!!) on the actual tire size when fully inflated. Unless you install an adventure tire on the bike (note Rocky has a way to verify acceptance of a tire to fit a bike) a 450 should be able to almost any size (100-140) tire to your bike. We have had many tires that seemed large and small for the width specified on the tire!!!
How do these perform on the road I ride 7 days in Colorado I say in a different town each night an if I get into rain on the road are these gonna kick out an wreck me I’m not worried about the off road performance they will hook up good just worried about pavement?
Shawn T on Jul 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: IMHO, you're concern about pavement traction is unwarranted. Look, you're there to ride the dirt, right?
If the road is wet with rain or even snow, you just need to adjust.
End of story.

To quote the great philosopher Mr. Know It All, you really should have known.
What will it cost for frnt and back tires on a 250 yz for all terrain?
A shopper on Sep 10, 2018

what is the largest size of motoz tractionator desert h/t will fit on ktm 525xc 2006 ?
donald z on Mar 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I bought a 140/80 for my 2006 ktm 450 and it rubbed the chain guide. It is currently on my 14 500 exc and fits great.
What is the actual difference between the tubeless and the tube tire? Not what it means. The difference in the tire.
A shopper on Nov 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The tread pattern is significantly different and the 90/90-21 Tubeless is better suited for larger bikes with 21x2.15" rims. The 90/100-21 Tube Type is better for a 21x1.60" or 21x1.85" rims. I hope this helps.
Is it true that you have redesigned the front tire to reduce cupping? If so, are you still selling the old design?
A shopper on Apr 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The current Tractionator Desert H/T 90/100-21 will be discontinued and replaced by a new redesigned 90/90-21 Tube Type. Cupping is going to happen on all knobby tires that are used on the pavement.
