From the beginning, Alpinestars has had a reputation for quality, durability, and dependability. Founded by a leather craftsman with a perfectionist mindset, the brand has been outfitting and protecting top motorcycle racers for over half a century with unmatched precision.
That attention to detail and high standard of performance that made Alpinestars so revolutionary back then is still evident today. Fabrics, plastics, and finished products are still rigorously tested before being mass-produced. Race suits are still hand-cut. Quality inspections are completed on varying products before they leave the warehouse.
Continued tradition doesn’t come at the cost of innovation, though. Alpinestars is an industry leader in safety, constantly refining products and viewing protection as an ever-evolving state of development. This mindset is how they’ve developed progressive products like the Tech-Air Airbag Vest, and is how they’ll continue to redefine rider safety for years to come.
With gear available for every riding discipline, Alpinestars provides the versatility that modern riders need. Their ever-expanding collection includes pieces like the Supertech M10 Helmet, Tech 10 Boots, Bionic Neck Support, GP Leather Jacket, Andes Drystar Pants, and more, all with the same standard of protection, quality, and durability. Whatever you ride, wherever you ride, Alpinestars has something for you.

These are comfortable enough to wear after an all day ride. They are good looking and do not scream "motocross". Probably wouldn't look good with a tuxedo but sitting around a campfire they are great. They are Flexible while still providing a good level of protection.

Kid likes them. His first boots so took some time for him to get use to walking and getting on and off the bike.

Just getting back into riding offroad on a dual sport and wanted something that would offer a little more protection and yet allow me to walk around too. These Tech 7 boots seem like they will do just that, they are stiff, but I think after break in they will be pretty comfortable. I didn't want to pay that much for a pair boots, but because I am older and more brittle, I thought it would be a good idea. Now, I haven't ridden in them yet so I can't speak to the overall experience with them yet. But I do want to talk about sizing. I ordered a size 10 because that is what my regular shoes and boots are. But they felt tight so I exchanged them for a size 11 and it is much better. So if you are on the fence, my experience is that you should size up. I read a lot of reviews on how roomy the toe box is but that is not the impression I am getting, even the size 11 that ended up with doesn't feel huge there. I'm sure it will get better with break in. Overall to me, they don't feel like slippers out of the box but I think they will break in nicely and they are definitely good quality. The buckles are really nice and feel like they are going to last, not like the plastic buckles I had on my old boots that kept breaking. I am happy with my purchase.
