Good tire, might take some getting used to

I'm not tire expert but this is what I'd call a soft-knobby tire, meaning that if you're used to something stiffer it will feel kind of unsteady under you. But I've come to like the feel because it has a bit of forgiveness that has been great for the desert terrain I mostly ride. I did up it to 13 PSI (I usually run 11 PSI on stiffer tires) and that helped. Don't take that to mean it isn't tough--two weeks ago I rode the last 30 miles of a 40-mile NHH race with it flat (partially thanks to Tubliss) after a thorn pierced it (Slime didn't seal it for some reason).

    The best 50/50 tires

These are the best 50/50 tire I've ever used. I run them on my 2015 KTM 350 EXC-F on the front and rear, and have used them in the desert and in the mountains. I run Tubliss as well and they work extremely well with this system. They work perfectly on the road, but work really well off-road as well. The MT43 rear tire is well known as a great off-road tire in everything but mud which isn't an issue for me since I'm on the west coast. But the front tire doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It really works well off-road. I run the front and rear at 10.5 psi and the front sticks in the turns very well. If it does slip, it never completely washes out but always catches. I've come to trust this front tire completely.

    Good tires

Replaced a front that had a hole poked in it. I am happy with these tires on my KTM 390 Adventure.
