  • Tusk Aluminum Brake Pedal

    Review time

After breaking two of the tusk rear brake pedals the time is now proper to give a review. The build quality and grip of the unit rivals stock while being close to half of the price. The issue arises around on the intended usage of your motorcycle. For motocross and light trail riding the brake is fine. When venturing into tight, technical, and rocky rides is where I take issue with the folding brake tip. While it does fold rearward, there is a large flat surface that grabs anything and everything solid. If you do intend to run the brake snake with this brake I would highly recommend a heavier gauge cable as well.

    Modification reqired, no grip

Had to modify with a cutting wheel so they would fit a TTR125, if you were to cut too much will not sit level. Also the serrations are not adequate for proper grip, kids feet keep sliding around. Stock pegs are better.

    Great foot pegs!

I love these things! I've been eyeballing these foot pegs for a number of years. Finally bit the bullet and purchased them. I'm fairly tall and have always had an issue of getting a bike to feel right. With the ability of lowering the foot placement these pegs made the bike feel so much better to me. By lowering your feet it also feels like it lowers the center of gravity on the bike which is a huge plus. I've heard issue that some people say the pegs get in the way through ruts, but with having size 13 boots I have always had this problem anyways. The added benefits of the lowered foot placement and larger platform make up for any down falls these might have. 2009 Yamaha YZ450F

  • Tusk Folding Shift Lever

    Good replacement

On my KTM a bolt goes through the lever and screws into the shift axle of my bike not like the picture shown for other brands of bikes. It fit great but the metal teeth get weak after hard shifting and i eventually stripped them off and had to buy a new shift lever. I bought the same one though because its the best price and you can't expect much more performance out of aluminum teeth. Just not a great design on KTM's part but this part works.
