I have used this tire on my old DR350, my Husky FE 250, I have the gummy on my 23 xTrainer (it is working out really well on this) and I bought this one for my 24 500rs. I have had great luck with this tire nd so have my friends on their bikes. Hooks up well, lasts well. Do not have it on my 500 yet.

4000 miles and minimal wear. Good on pavement and better than OEM on dirt.

After a lot of research I selected these tires for a trip from Arizona to the Dempster Highway in the Yukon, and back home through Alaska. They exceeded my expectations on dry pavement, wet roads, icy dirt roads, and the slick Canadian roads that are treated with Calcium Chloride. I wanted a tire that would last me the entire trip and not have to worry about carrying another tire or having to find one in a remote area. I ran them in the optional off road position for the entire 8,500 mile trip and they still show little signs of wear. Im not sure how I can wear them out! They may not be cheap, but if you want peace of mind on a long distance trip, and awesome performance in a variety of conditions, I dont know of a better tire.

Just turned 17,000 miles on this front tire and still 5mm of tread! Great grip on and off road. No weird cupping or tread wear patterns. Even wear and best ride on my 500# bike is inflation at 30 psi for pavement and hardpack.

Great overall "dirty" adventure tire. Kind of a harder, longer lasting version of a TKC80. Easily flipped about every 1.5 to 2k miles to knock down funky wear and scalloping. My first lasted every bit of 7k mi with about half of that on dirt. Do note that you aren't gonna have super sticky (but fast wearing) properties of the TKC80. These bite pretty well offroad, but leave yourself some extra room in case you have to stop hard. Compared to Trailmax Missions, I found myself needing about 30% more threshold braking distance. They're also pretty comfy in a corner, but once you get on the last row of knobs they kind of want to collapse and drop in. Kinda typical of knobbies, but just FYI.

I love these tires on my 1250 GSA, very aggressive but still last for many miles. Great off-road, and in the mud and sand, but still feels fine on curvy pavement.
