These are probably the best tubes out there, but a little pricey. They are thick and very pliable. I've got around 100 hours on them, and no flats. They are heavy, but I don't care about that.

Awesome tire
I went one size taller in the front because of the terrain I ride, wanting a little more cushion for the square edged rocks. Coupled this with a 4mm thick Bridgestone tube and no more pinch flats. Traction in the slickrock and singletrack of Moab is excellent. I have used Maxxis Desert IT,s in the past and will continue to use them.

Good DOT replacement
I got this tire to replace my tire with a DOT tire. I have a bunch of rides on it on roads and single track. It seams to work exactly the same as far as i can tell. Traction in the dirt, mud, rocks, roots and sand is very good. The road manners are fine for what it is (no miracle happened) it's not a road tire.
